
AFGSU Level 1 training
The AFGSU 1 course is designed to train non-medical staff in health establishments to perform first aid in emergency situations.
It enables them to acquire the skills needed to protect, alert and intervene while waiting for help.
This training is a legal requirement in certain high-risk sectors, where employers must ensure that at least one employee is trained to intervene in an emergency.

Learning objectives
On completion of the course, participants will be able to :
▪ Learn to intervene in an emergency situation to protect, alert and rescue victims
▪ Know how to recognise and treat signs of vital distress (cardiac, respiratory, etc.)
▪ Know what to do in the event of situations involving situations or serious incidents

Assessment
Continuous assessment by the trainer
Certification and award procedures
The Level 1 Certificate of Training in Emergency First Aid is issued on condition that the trainee attends the entire course and participates in the exercises supervised by the instructor. The certificate is issued by our partner CESU.
